Good morning Baysiders! This is your S.O. President Amelia Crane and your S.O Vice President Preston Mei with this morning’s announcements The K-Pop Club will be having a bake sale outside the main entrance, tomorrow, October 27th, periods 10 and 11. We will be selling Halloween themed cookies and brownies for $3 and pretzels for $1 S.O. cards and water bottles are on sale in the S.O. Office, Room 131. Queens Public Library will be visiting our school library on Wednesday, October 28th. Come by during your lunch to get a Queens Public Library card and learn about programs at your local public library branches. Teachers are welcome to come by to get an educator card and learn about the MyLibraryNYC program as well! Hey Baysiders! If you’re interested in performing in this year’s Multicultural event, there will be a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday October 28 in room 147 during periods 10 and 11. You HAVE to attend this meeting if you wish to perform at Multicultural. Please attend it to be properly informed on what’s required to be part of the performance. Hope to see you there! Attention all clubs! If your club is interested in selling Multicultural's food portion, come to our informational meeting tomorrow, October 27th during 10th or 11th period in Room 147. Make sure you have at least 1 board member present at the meeting. Hello, starting October 28th, the Gamer’s Unplugged Club will be meeting every Wednesday, period 11 in room 147. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy our selection of table top games. Bayside’s Jewish Student Union is back in action and our first meeting will be on Monday, October 26th during period 11 in Room 238. Come connect with fellow Jews at Bayside while enjoying good food. Attention Class of 2027, Yearbook portraits will take place in the Auditorium until October 30. Please check the Bayside Senior Google Classroom or the Leadership instagram page to get the link to sign-up. Attention All Bayside Staff, if you are interested in taking a portrait to be featured in the Class of 2027 please come to the auditorium during your lunch period. The last day to take pictures is October 30. “Attention, students scheduled to graduate in 2027! CUNY’s Apply for Free period is open through November 16. Apply to up to six CUNY colleges with one application and save the $65 application fee. Still deciding on your plans? Applying keeps your options open and does not commit you to attending. Tryouts for the Girl’s Basketball will be held this Thursday after 11th period in Gym 2. All participants need a completed medical and parental consent form. See Coach Corrado in room 100 if you have any questions. Attention Baysiders, the Black Student Union club is having an important meeting this Wednesday. There will be a FUN game but most importantly opportunities to take on a club position is available. All are welcome. See you this Wednesday 11th period in room 325. Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Girls Cross Country teams on their performances this past weekend! The Varsity girls took 2nd place at the borough championships while the JV team raced to a 3rd place finish. It was a tremendous achievement on a tough Van Cortlandt Park course! Congratulations to Bayside Boy’s Soccer team on their 3 to 1 win over Beach Channel High School in the 1st round of playoffs. Goal scorers were Tei Suh, Johan Perez and Cristian Agis. Come support your Boy’s Varsity Soccer team as they play at home in a round of 16 match against Hunter High School tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27th. Let’s Go Bayside!
